I was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969-1972. Served one year in Vietnam with the First Marine Division from 69-70. Just curious, am I the only Vietnam Vet in this class?
I've been writing and directing movies since the mid-80's, mostly action films starring the likes of Jean-Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, etc. Some of the more well-known titles are "Bloodsport," "Rambo 3," "Lionheart," "Double Impact," and "Only The Strong." The most recent film I directed was "The Hard Corps" starring Van Damme and Vivica Fox. It was produced by Brad Krevoy, another BHHS alumnus. My latest movie is "Max," about an MWD - a Military Working Dog - which I co-authored with the director, Boaz Yakin.
In 1980 I co-authored "Tracers," a play about the Vietnam experience which was staged at the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles, the Public Theater in New York, the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago, and numerous venues worldwide.
I've traveled extensively throughout the world, mostly due to my profession. Countries I've actually filmed in include Israel, Hong Kong, Morocco, Canada, Mexico, Romania, and Bulgaria.
